Real Estate Video > Theater Closes For Rodent Problem

  Description

People who were hoping to get movie tickets tonight are out of luck.

Many called us saying they showed up to find the Midland theater was closed and the health department was inside.

This was the scene earlier today. Several employees told us they saw many mice in the theater and were forced to put up a sign and close down for the evening.

Terminex crews were called to the theater to exterminate and the health department was called to investigate because the theater serves food.

We received a press release from the Midland movie theater saying that they “voluntarily” shut down the theater for the rest of this evening and were taking care of the rodent problem as soon as they can.

They plan to re-open tomorrow.

No matter what they came to see, they’ll have to try again tomorrow.

“If it was mice I glad they’re getting rid of them, I would hate to find one in my popcorn.”
“They came to see the movie too.”

Rodents are uninvited guests at Midland’s Hollywood Theaters.

“I don’t know if they should have shut down for a whole day over a few little mice.”

The inconvenience though, is necessary as exterminators and the health department clean house.

“It’s our date night so it’s kind of disappointing because we have child care and we wanted to come see a movie.”

So tonight many Midlanders are changing plans and doing something else.

“I’m thinking we may go to Odessa.”

“I don’t know, my wife like to eat so I’m going to go take her to eat somewhere.”
